Located on the Lomada de Tecina and overlooking the blue ocean, the golf course was designed by leading British architect and writer Donald Steel, who described it as “the most exciting and challenging project I have ever designed and built”. It’s unusual in that you have to walk uphill to the first tee and then it’s downhill all the way. The views are fantastic.” Overlooking the ocean, Tecina Golf’s 18 holes total 6,343 yards from the white sticks and a par 71. Its fairways and greens are surrounded by lush Canarian flora, such as cacti and tabaibas, as well as fruit trees like bananas, avocados, and mangoes, which give off their characteristic aroma.
