La Zagaleta Golf

La Zagaleta Country Club is located in Benahavís, in a privileged enclave of Mediterranean forest where tranquillity, silence and peace prevail. This club is made up of two courses, Old and New, from which the golfer will be able to contemplate the Alboran Sea, Africa and Gibraltar. The New Course is an 18-hole par 70 course opened in 2005 and designed by Steve Marnoch. It fuses golf with nature, with many obstacles to overcome and great views. It is a very different course to the Old Course, with more pronounced curves and more athletic. Playing both courses means two different but equally satisfying experiences.The Old Course is an 18-hole course and was designed by renowned architect Brad Benz in 1991. It is a championship-standard course, which internalises the surrounding flora and fauna with undulating contours, immaculate fairways and greens where you will find bunkers, water hazards and changes in the level of the terrain. An experience that challenges the most advanced players on its 6,039-metre course.
