Atalaya Golf

Atalaya Golf & Country Club is a golf club in Estepona that was created as a welcoming and friendly destination for golfers that want to experience the Costa del Sol. The club has two courses Old Course and New Course. The New Course opened in 1990 and is located in the hills above the Old Course. It offers 18 holes, and many of its fairways have elevated greens that make club selection interesting. The course affords views to the Mediterranean and to Gibraltar, and is far enough away from busy areas for the game to be played quietly.The Old Course was opened in 1968 and it is considered as one of the finest courses on the Costa del Sol. The wide generous fairways undulate gently and the frequently elevated greens need careful judgement to sink the putts.This is a perfect course for walking, with views to La Concha and to the Mediterranean. If you also enjoy wildlife, the lakes and streams are home to a wide variety of waterfowl.
